We’re extremely pleased that so many families have chosen to join us since opening in 2020. We currently have very limited availability and our waiting lists, while they are moving, are filling up fast.

We believe in encouraging a child’s development through real life, hands on experiences with outdoor resources where possible. That’s why we’re excited to be developing our own landscape garden to give little ones the extra outdoor space they need for adventures. Currently under construction, the finished garden – currently a work in progress – will feature a fantastic range of play resources including willow domes, earth mounds, play puddles and a firepit. The children will also have access to a dedicated allotment space where they will learn all about growing fresh produce.
Our indoor facilities are just as exciting, with plenty to be explored. We’re proud to be the first Nursery in the country to offer the Haba ‘Foxhole’ play equipment, designed to stimulate the senses.
Our light and airy rooms have the capacity for 101 children to learn and play while feeling secure in a homely, safe space run by a caring and passionate team of professionals. Safety is our top priority, which is why we’ve introduced fingerprint recognition technology for secure access into the Nursery.
Our location gives us the best of both worlds. Close to Stewartby Lake and Marston Vale Millenium Country Park, children have access to beautifully natural environments just on the doorstep. We’re based at Marston Business Park just a short walk from Marston Moretaine village, so parents commuting to Bedford and Milton Keynes can drop off and pick up en route to work with ease.
Nurturing your little ones through good nutrition is also hugely important to us at Marston. We provide fresh and healthy meals cooked on-site every day, ensuring every child has the energy they need to learn and grow.

he Marston Day Nursery is a new, purpose-built Nursery in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, which officially opened in August 2020 and provides the perfect mix of nature-inspired facilities within a modern environment.
The Marston includes a fantastic garden with free-flow access and age-appropriate rooms filled with hand-picked resources to spark curiosity and imagination.
Our brilliant team provide a warm, home-from-home environment and create new and enticing provocations each day, based on the children’s interests.

We’re Ofsted GOOD!
Following our first inspection in September 2021, we’re delighted to have secured an Ofsted GOOD rating.
The report highlighted the range of extended learning opportunities made available to the children based on their interests, the involvement the Nursery has within the community which sparks children’s ‘interest in the wider world’, and detailed positive praise received from parents about the Nursery.
Senior manager Hannah Little said: “Achieving a ‘GOOD’ judgement in all areas across the new Education Inspection Framework(EIF) is an accomplishment for well-established nurseries, so for the team here at The Marston to get this judgement in just 12 months after we opened (and in a pandemic) is an incredible achievement.
“We are immensely proud of the feedback we received on the day from our inspector and the summary report. We are sure you will join us in passing on congratulations to the whole team at The Marston.”
